The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) on 20 February 2018 inaugurated the Intermediate Upgrading Aircraft Maintenance Course (IAMC 009) for Nigerian Air Force Technicians. The Acting Commandant of the Institute, Air Commodore MA Akiode, while welcoming the students of IAMC 009 underlined how high-priced the course is to the institute and NAF as a whole. He therefore encouraged them to put in their best to learn and contribute accordingly.
The HOD Aircraft Maintenance Department, Squadron leader SO Uguzo, in his remarks echoed one of the key drivers of CAS Vision which is “Robust logistics support and maintenance culture to sustain platforms and equipment serviceability”.
